Need a proggie that will power off PC if fan goes out.

I was on some site several weeks ago and read about a utility that senses if your CPU fan has given out. I thought that I had bookmarked it, but did not, and now my fan seems to be giving me some hassle. Anyone who knows a good program that will power off your comp if the fain fails please post...

Lost 15 degrees off my cpu temp with DIY cooling!

Deanodarlo: Really good point about the seasons effect on cooling. I live in Michigan and right now where its 3 about 15F, but come summer itll be 85-95 with near 100% humidity, and I dont have air conditioning. Looks like reading up on the blowhole guide will be a must :) CC

FREE 64mb RAM!!! @ CompUSA (MIR)

I have NEVER had good luck with the rain check orders at CompUSA or Best Buy here in MI. Of the 3 items Ive rainchecked, I have never got a call back about one. So for those of you that do get it, great, but dont hold yer breath. CC

It come with CPU, for the above price its a TBird 1ghz. But there are a bunch of options depending on CPU, just check the link. Best time to buy seems to be around the first of the month, that was the last time I saw a price drop. Also the case was an AOpen w/ 250 UL listed power supply. CC

Problem resolved itself 20 minutes later, unexplained reason. I shut it down and went to the Mac to get on the help forum, I came back powered up - held the ctrl key, and selected option #2, a boot record, and it booted fine. Restarted and it booted fine again. While this is no longer as urgent...
