The mobile Athlon 64 and motherboards

Just tonight I put together an Asus K8N-8 Deluxe with the Athlon 64 3000+ DTR and my system will not boot. More precisely all the fans start up for about a second then everything turns off. I'm trying to figure out what is causing this, do these symptoms sound at all like the failure to boot...

Power Supply Dying?

Classical Music

I would highly recommend Dvorak's New World Symphony, specifically the 4th movement. I would also encourage you to take a listen to Smetana's The Moldau from My Fatherland, without a doubt one of my favorite pieces. Also, if you like choral music Mozart's Requiem is also quite powerful.

Smoking, melting case speaker wire?!

Modem Problem - REALLY long time to logon

I've had similar problems and i've solved them by doing the following. Go to dial-up networking, right click on your earthlink connection and select properties, select the server types tab, and then uncheck the Log on to network box, then with any luck your problem will be solved.

Question about my IWILL KK266

Monitor problems

On some monitors there is an adjustment that can correct color problems in the corners, so I would look through your manual and see if it has such an adjustment.

Which software DVD player for my Radeon ViVo (Power/Win/ATI)?

I've found that the supplied ATI DVD player works the best, with WinDVD being about equal, and since the ATI player is free thats the one I use (although i've heard that WinDVD has better 4 channel downmixing, but I use a Dolby Digital decoder so it's not an issue).

What Reciever should I use? Also what video card?

I'm assuming that you plan on using your reciever for both DVD and for playing games, in which case you wouldn't have any speakers directly connected to your soundcard, but rather the speakers would be connected to your reciever. Then you would use 1/8" stereo to RCA connectors to connect...
