Sound Blaster Live question

Hey I just reformatted my hard drive and went to install drivers for my SB Live. I was just wondering, do I have to install LiveWare or will just the drivers take care of everything I need (e.g. do they provide eax and all that stuff for the games)? Thanks.

What's a good Celeron motherboard?

My friend bought a computer, but it has that built in graphics crap and he wants a new motherboard with an AGP slot. I think he said it was a 750 Celeron, but I'm not sure. He wants a board that has an AGP slot, and he also wants it to hold more than 512mb of ram. Thanks.

How much should I charge?

I wasn't asking like for labor, more like what do you think it's worth for hardware. I'm asking this because usually when I fix one of our friends computers it is something simple and I am perfectly happy doing it for free, but they always insist on paying me something so I was just wondering...

How much should I charge?

Hey, I'm 16 and my mom's friend had me fix her computer. I replaced the floppy drive, put in a "newer" video card (S3 Trio64V+, newer is a relative term), formatted the hard drive and installed Windows 98. I was wondering how much I should charge for doing this?

Difference between LNE100TX and NC100

I have the NC100. The difference is that the LNE has Wake on LAN and a socket for a boot ROM, the NC100 doesn't have either of these. Also, the NC100 is on Linksys' Network Everywhere site.

What is TCP port 111?

I recently downloaded ZoneAlarm and most of the alerts are for tcp port 111. I looked it up and found that port 111 is SUN Remote Procedure, anyone know what that is? I'd also like to say it's amazing how many times people "probe" you and you never knew it. Thanks.
