What can i do with an old 486?

Simple network router? or perhaps a firewall for your network... 486's are prefect for linux; but i shouldn't say more then that... hit up the OS section for more info.

what version of the server did you receive from microsoft? did they send you a package in the mail or did you download the server, it is possible, that you may have recieved/downloaded a copy of the 64bit system only compatable with 64bit intel based chip/mobo combos. I.E. built for dual or...

Started building website.

Well im building a website using DreamWeaver MX havent really gotten alot done on it, wanted to start a weblog, was wondering exactly how one goes about creating a weblog, preferably something that looks nice :-) im still new to web programming. thanks any help would be great. Confide

Divx sound dies.

When viewing a divx *.avi file with the AC3 windows media sound codec every once in a while the sound will just stop playing, video feed will continue right on rolling but even if i stop it and start it again no sound i have to close the player, and re-open it, then find where i left off and...

How to make fire come out of a tailpipe

Drill a hole in your tail pipe, so that you can screw a spark plug into the hole igniting end in the pipe, then run a wire from the end of the plug to a switch on your dash and then to you battery, and hammer down, flip the switch, i've heard of people getting 10ft flamez... have fun Confide

Well, living on the second floor of the dorm complex, we have neighbors all around us, my roomates and i all have pritty nice stereo equipment, but mine puts out the most bass, nobody in any of the rooms around us have ever said anything or cared about our "Excessive Bass" but if i even so much...
