Can't change display settings - HELLLP

My sister (in another state) can't change her display settings. She gets the message "The display control panel is unable to change the display settings. Please check your display hardware in device manager." So far I've had her remove and let windows reinstall the video card (via device mgr.)...

2nd computer can't do e-mail

HELP! I can't format drive C!

Thanks guys - You're both right! I didn't even think about my file system being NTFS. I haven't had to format since I loaded 2000 over a year ago.

I'm trying to format my hard drive to do a clean install of 2000. I downloaded a boot disk, it boots from A:, installs the cdroms, and goes to DOS. From there, I can't change to drive c:. It says "invalid drive specification." I can change to r: and s: (my cdroms) but not c: or d: (my hard...

2.1 megapixel vs 1.3

I'm in the market for a digital camera, mostly for computer use, but I may be printing some photos out to give to family, etc.. I realize that a 2.1 MP camera will be sharper than a 1.3, but will the difference be noticeable without a magnifying glass? I'm looking at the Sony DSC-P30 and DSC-P50...

Fatal Exception Error (BSOD) with new Burner Help!!!

My neighbor got a new burner (ACER 10X4X32) and gets the Fatal Exception error: 0D 16B7:015F75B6 whenever she tries to access the drive. Its the slave on IDE2 and her CDRom drive is the master (we've tried switching them as well). The burner gives the same error when the CDRom drive is not...
