Let me start off my saying that i'm fairly new to this and I'm trying it myself so we might need to drop to basics.
So I'm trying to set up a VM with Server 2012 R2 as a domain controller and then have a Win7 Pro VM connect to it.
First off, both VMs are set up with an internal network in the...
Each chat agent deals with multiple people at once. I don't care about the time it takes for them to respond. I'm chatting with them because for a reason.
The law that states I can do whatever I want with my personal property. This chat contains no internal personal company information.
What law gives them the ability to see what I am typing? It is essentially they are able to see what I am thinking? I do not see a law that gives them that ability.
So chatting with Asus Tech support when I typed something however I retracted it because I felt like it did not add to the conversation. What do you know, the agent asks me about what I had typed. Apparently they can see everything you are typing even before you hit enter!
I find this a huge...
Well even without the IDE drive connected, I'm still getting some instabillity. Already tried with 1 RAM stick, different GPU, different power supply. Basically everything except a new CPU.
Let me give Asus a call, I tried twice and all they said was "Call back, we're busy". Hopefully I...
OMG I totally forgot that I already have one of those from the time I had RAID IDE Drives. Guess I'll be digging through boxes tomorrow. Thanks guys!
Last question, if the IDE ports failed and the board is under warranty, is it worth RMAing? It'll cost me around $15 shipping and no computer...
Already tried 3 different IDE drives. I can't let this drive go because it's a drive I use to rip Wii games. After loosing a $40 game from abuse, all my brother gets now is the backups of what he wants to play.
Sorry I didn't answer the question about a fresh install. No, I haven't done a fresh install but the problem is on XP and Windows 7. I'd find it odd to be OS related if the problem is on both OS's.
So 2 days in a row, my computers been working fine. No problems. Is there a possibility that...
I'll give that a try. I'm using the computer right now out of the case on a cardboard box. Is that alright?
My board has a power switch on it so no worries about having to short power connectors.
Occasionally. Right now there's no IDE drive and it came out of standby fine however it froze for about 5 minutes before the mouse and keyboard activated. I've had days where the PC works fine with the IDE drive and sometimes without it, the PC crashes.
Here's a screenshot of what it reported. The bottom part is the same but the files are listed here.
Had a problem today where it would crash on loading (Black screen, not the blue screen). Unplugged IDE drive and it booted up. I'm really starting to think its an IDE port issue. Is there any...
I'm completely lost here guys. Recently I had a problem where my IDE CD Drive would open on return from Standby. Used a new IDE cable to fix that problem but I now have so many others:
Specs:
Asus P5Q-E|Q9550|4GB DDR2|9800GTX+|1TB SATA HD|IDE CD/DVD-RW|SATA DVD-RAM|Media card reader|650W Cooler...
I'll just deal with it I guess, I really can't move it anywhere else. I'm getting a PS3 for the basement so I might move this down there and have a slim up where the A01 is.
I'll try that. What do you think about these? Would they help?

So I know it's not anything PC related but hopefully you guys can help me out here. I'm having trouble cooling off a CECHA01 60GB Backwards Compatible PS3. No matter what I do, fans ramp up quite fast. I've already replaced the heatsink thinking that the old heatsink wasn't smooth. The...
