Thanks for the advice! And Bryan, thanks, you're right about the slots - i missread that on the docs. Would I be able to run a 2 card setup without SLI / X-Fire, to add monitor outputs? I'm not familiar with this.

Dell Precision 390 Intel Core 2 6300 1.86GHz 2GB RAM 40GB partition running Win7 RC 32bit NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285 Love it! No complaints at all. Found all drivers upon install. Runs just as fast as XP pro SP3 on same machine.

Win7 - change lock screen background

I've been using Win7 RC at work and love it so far. I just don't like the default background that appears when you lock the workstation, that's all. No biggie, just want to see if anyone has successfully changed this without the use of a 3rd party app. Thanks,

Help with firmware update via telnet

looks like I was wrong - I haven't had any luck flashing the router but I just logged into it via my friends macbook with firefox and everything looks fine with the current version of DD-WRT. I've logged in with several other PCs but all using IE7. I wish i tried this a while ago, lol. Thanks...

No luck yet. That's actually what I'm afraid of....I think I used the wrong version when first trying to flash a while ago which is why it's not coming up correctly now. I'm fairly sure I have the newest correct version of DD-WRT now but the problems with the previous install prevent me from...

Confirmed that only 1 NIC is enabled. MS firewall is off and I can ping in both directions.

I followed all the steps but the tftp command refused the connection - "Connect request failed". I don't have any firewalls running on my PC. It has all the factory default settings now as I just hard reset it. Any other ideas?

Thanks but it's not the browser as this origionally came up a while ago and I've rebuilt my PC since then. Hard resetting the router doesn't fix either. Any other ideas?

I updated the firmware from the linksys factory firmware and it completed but the graphics on the web interface are all cut off, thus I cannot make changes to functionality of the device, ie mac filter, dhcp range, etc. It's hard to describe, I see the menus and tabs, but only white space below...

Vista support 4.1 audio??

I have ReakTek HD audio with 4.1 speakers which is awesome on XP, but on Vista only outputs on the front speakers and sub for windows sounds and all media players. The back speakers have a weak signal at best, like low frequency streaming audio. But then when I test the speakers individually...
