Do you run with your phone?

I hike, run, bike, and ski with my phone. It is my gps, camera, music, phone, ... For summer running I use a water proof armband. For winter running I stick it in a jacket pocket. MTB cycling I put it in my pack. And so on. 2 years with a DROID and 1 year with an iPhone = zero problems.

I want a linux 64bit distro but not sure how to dl/install it!!

I have really enjoyed using Gentoo. I've installed and dinked with most of the popular distros, but Gentoo was the one that helped me to learn enough about Linux to develop a base knowedge and start to feel more comfortable with Linux. The Gentoo handbook and other documentation are fantastic...

Just got my SuSE 9.2 Pro box!

On distrowatch.com I saw that SUSE 9.2 live CD was available for download. I assume live CD is a version that simply boots and runs from CD. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I thought SUSE 9.1 was very nice. Any ideas how long before 9.2 personal edition will be available for download?

Need advice on case choice

I have a Lian-Li PC-65 that is a great case. I also have a Lian-Li PC-70 tower that is great but a little too big for me. I have used several Antec cases that are solid and very functional, but nothing as nice as the Lian-Li. My only problem with the PC-65 is that I have way too many case...

Why does everybody say wait for nforce4 ?

I simply want more nForce3 250 socket 939 motherboards options. Right now it is the MSI or Epox, period. MSI seems OK and I have not heard anything good about the Epox, sadly. If there were DFI, Asus, or Abit nForce3 socket 939 motherboards, I am sure I could find one I was willing to buy...

MSI Neo2 Platinum + Athlon 64 3000+ (90nm) problems

I only played a little bit with an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum and 3500+ that I setup for a co-worker. To do any kind of overclocking I found I needed to forgo many "auto" bios settings. I have never found any kind of auto overclock stuff useful. Set memory timings manually - maybe try something...

No fun installing Linux

Update: Well, thanks artemedes (and everyone else too). I gave SUSE 9.1 personal a try this morning. From an install standpoint, SUSE was the easiest and smoothest install of all the distros I tried. It was far faster than the XP install I did on Friday. Only one .iso CD image is nice too...
