I like some of the features of an open back if they also had decent bass, nothing crazy but being used for gaming seems like that would be important, but I really don't have anything to compare with. One main thing would be durability, I don't mind spending more on something nice but wouldn't...
I've never bought myself over-ear headphones and don't know much about them but would like to get something nice to use while gaming. I have a small head so there's that. Budget up to $200. Thanks!
Should I put them both on the sys-fan header with a splitter or can I attach one of them to the cpu_opt, and if so which would be best to go there, the 200mm intake fan or the 80mm exhaust fan? Thanks!
Edit: I see my motherboard has Smart Fan 6 which allows CPU_OPT header to be switched from...
For general usage which would be better, especially long term? I'm looking at LG Gram laptops and last year's model has the 32gb or slower ram while this year's model comes with 16gb faster ram, at the same price. It's soldered in so what I get is what I'll have, so it's between faster/less over...
I would use the 2in1 in stand mode so it vents upwards, that way can rest it on a pillow while using handsfree.
The Samsung Ultra 14.6" is my first choice but I haven't been able to find a really stable case that would work for my use. I have a Zagg Folio case for my 10.1 tablet that works...
I haven't had a laptop in quite a while and am unfamiliar with the technology nowadays. I do know that I want a 2in1 with a 16" screen. Lightweight and durability are most important. I won't be doing anything intensive with it, mostly for ease of reading stuff that doesn't require being at the...
I do a lot of reading while in bed or lounging on couch and my 10" Samsung Tab is just not cutting it. Want to upgrade to a larger screen but as I only use it to read content (often with illustrations so there's a lot to take in) the high performance specs that come along with large screen...
That's a valid point, with my last build (htpc) I was going to buy a GTX 1650 Super but was back when they were hard to get, and now GPUs have made a lot of progress for relatively the same price point.
Is just a i5-14500, stock cooler is working ok but considering adding a GPU and an aftermarket cooler but don't know much about them. I am not a gamer but looking to try some out going forward so basic cooling probably enough for my needs.
A few I've looked at are: Thermalright Peerless Assassin...
I just finished a new SFFPC build, have room for up to 255mm GPU; PSU is 650w.
This will be my first GPU. I don't currently game but would like to have the option going forward.
Reliability over time more important than fastest etc, so probably one that has been out long enough to know how it...
I just finished a build with i5-14500 and while the bios states 65c at idle, looking at 3 different cpu monitor tools (hwmonitor, hwinfo & cpuid) they all show around 30c--unless I look at the tjmax which is same as bios at 65c. Which should I go by?
