I just signed up with a new ISP that has pre-wired ethernet in my building. When I connect the cat5 directly from my computer to the wall jack, I get speeds of around 50mbps down/50 mbps up. However, when I connect my NetGear WNDR3400 in between, my downstream drops to ~9mbps, but upstream is...

You should note that grammar != spelling != typo. You cannot infer from a typo that the OP does not have a good grasp of English, especially when said typo involves a proper noun.

After the fact, perhaps. Not during the shooting. This guy did not have the right to play judge and jury just because he had a shotgun. Especially after the 911 operator (ahem, law enforcement) advised him to stay put.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? These guys were suspects at best, and regardless of how timid and/or resentful of their actions you are, you can't just call people out as criminals then bring out your shotgun to shoot them at will. How fucked up is this.
