Poll:Incompatibility Issues: ATI vs Nvidia

Ive had Rage Pro's, a few older all in wonders, a 7500r and now a 9800. I've had a GF2, ti4200 and just prior to the 9800 an FX5900. In the latest (9800 vs 5900) I think even if the 9800 gave me problems it would be because the ATI is actually giving me an effort in bringing me a detailed...

I'de just like to say that has to be one of the worst analogies I've ever read. If your creative writing is on the same level with your hardware knowledge I'de have to guess you screwed up.

Don't buy ATI !

You're upset cause your card wont run in 8X AGP? It useless, paper feature, might at best give you .0000001% performance increase. There is no need for it enabled or to be "working".

Any talk of drivers being less than accurate *cough* aside (since we've all heard enough of that lately) I'm just amazed to see nV pull anything in the IQ department over ATI. It's refreshing really, it's been forever that the basic thought would be ATI=Quality and nV=Speed. To see the rolls...

Wow interesting is an understatement, look at the liesence plate on the car to the left, ATI's screen the last digit and part of the plate is crunched away, on the next car over look at the grill detail, half of it is gone completely on the ATI screen. Call me an nVidiot if you will but nV is...

Filenames, spaces and XP

Got a little problem and I'm not sure of the solution? I need XP to stop adding spaces in filenames and still use the semi automated transfers. The jist of it is, toss a card into the reader, name the folder and right now XP in all its wisdom will call all the photos "Jones 12324.jpg", the...

is it safe to push a CRT a bit harder

I've pretty much killed two monitors that way, lifespans were cut VERY short. Out of range and out of spec are two very different things. In short, my own experiance has told me to never ever OC the refresh rate.
