BF2 patch 1.3 is HORRID. They finished patch 1.4 and said it was stable, but they held it from the people because of some lame reason like it was leaked and/or they want to add stuff to it. So blame EA not P5B.

You guys are doing it all wrong, go the the xtremesystem link and in the first pages I took pics of my bios. Copy it exactly except where u need to change it (like latency). Don't be afraid to go to a non-noob forum -you might learn something.

My P5B used pink chinese bubble for the NB sink. I removed it, spread a thin layer of AS5, and zip tied an evercool 50mm fan on it. It runs warm to the touch though probe shows only 33c the most (I think it's wrong).

Gary what is it in the Asus Bios that makes us hit a wall? Is fsb termination voltage the same as MCH voltage? Cause on the P5B vanilla there is only fsb termination. Before I go on, I have a e6300, corsair 675mhz 4-4-4-12 1.9v ram, Radeon x850xt, Coolermaster hyper L3 cpu cooler, 50mm fan on...

How long does it take for you to build a computer?

1:30 first time and took so long cause I did full format and win98se install was slow. Conroe build will take...say...45 minutes maybe depending on format and install.

Flashed bios - can't boot anymore

"where just waiting would fix it" dude your PSU is weird. Try disconnecting everything except what you need to see the bios and use a different powersupply if you have an old one laying around.

P965 and the 1.8V vDIMM barrier

Any news on the P5B? Update: NM: NewEgg reviewer said running patriot pc6400 2 gig kit, only patriot ram I see at those specs are 2.1v. So good to go :)
