The VRM fluctuates all over the place on mine, you can read my full review at Sysopt.com. I've found vCore fluctuates by around +- 7%, which is 14% total, and ruins my efforts to maintain stability near the limits of my CPU.

PC3500 is more likely to be stable at stock settings (PC3200 speed) than PC3200, because it's either better quality, or using slower timings by SPD.

Hehe, Mushkin replaced BH5 with BH6, that's right you can buy PC3500 now that's made using PC2700 chips.

I have the P4C800-E Deluxe revision 2.0, and my stock Intel sink fit with the perfect pressure. The only problem I have with the board is the crappy voltage regulation for the CPU.

    I'd answer you, but I can't. I have a UDMA mode 5 drive!

Sparkle uses Fortron. Aopen does for some of their supplies too. As does Zalman, or so I've heard.

I don't recommend the Antec ANYjunk when Fortron produces supplies that: 1.) Always produce more power 2.) Always have a greater MTBF 3.) Always cost less In this case, the 550W True Control is a TERRIBLE PSU for the money because it cost so much more than the Fortron 530W, which produces more...

Yes, an RJ45 connector with a sticker over it. It is unusual but not that hard to understand, the IC7 is a stripped down IC7-G. Since the -G uses CSA, Abit had to either use the expensive Intel CSA Gigabit chip, or no chip at all. And because that chip is expensive, Abit went with none at all.

No, I mean the IC7 has no onboard LAN whatsoever. They used the same LAN traces as the IC7-G, and simply removed the chip! In fact, they didn't even use a different multipurpose connector where the LAN port is, they simply put a sticker over it! Many people have tried removing that sticker to...

Consider the reviews at Sysopt which tend to be a bit more balanced on the possitive/negative aspects. BTW, that site is having problems getting review samples for some strange reason.

Yes, well consider that the IC7 doesn't even come with LAN, and that most people can't do better than 10/100 on their network anyway.

The Abit IS7 is an awesome, top-notch, high-end board, at a moderate price. I can't see paying over $150 for a motherboard when one of the best cost less than $100.

Any chance on me getting my OLD nick back?

BTW, I found an old message from August offering to do just that, I finally read it and responded, hence I didn't need to post here and...did get my nick back. Thanks mod!

    Overclock 9600, how?

Attempting an overclock with the 9600 is an excersize in futility, it will be reset to stock clocks again and again.

I need to vent- AMD set up

I hope VIA never gets better. In fact, I hope they get worse. They've screwed me without lube so many times in the past, I can't forgive them. Even if VIA introduced so many flaws their newest product was their worst yet, you guys would still buy them, and I'd still laugh and insult you.
