Which Linux is better?

Go with mandrake since your new. -Should be able to download the latest release from the Web. Great step by step GUI install. Good luck!:)

Man, I just bought a CTX 19" trinitron for $370, Wish I would have waited get this for the cheaper price instead; even if it's not as sharp. Great monitor, My friend had one. Oh well I guess you can't win all the time.;):):frown:

Hello Net-Geeks, How do I broadcast my UT server from behind a firewall. I have an internal IP via Router, and my external static IP through AT&T. I just want it to be active in ngwolrdstats, so other nodes can see it on their UT browsers. please help -give some Multi-IP addressing...

Warm deal on 19" CTX FD trinitron Monitor

I don't know if you guys think this is hot, but warm would be my opinion. Any way, in response to the Junior member Phlattires' thread, I found a 19 inch CTX FD trinitron (PR960F) monitor at this site for $375 w/free FedEx 3day Feight. I may get one myself. I had an old 15" from them...

Don't be sad phlattires, every one makes mistakes. I wanted that same KDS deal with the FD trinitron, but they were out of stock by the end of April. I did see a deal they had last week on a 21" multisync. Go to TigerDirect.com and check out there monitor section. LOL Peace, CraZCaM...

FINALLY Got Red Hat installed on my Alpha

Maybe you can try installing WINE and see about running 1/2life from there. Just a guess; I haven't tried myself, although, I'm running wine on Mandr8k. cya! peace, CraZCaM
