"Best" TV under $1000?

I got a sony something-something-ex500 46" for $900, really happy with it so far. Haven't noticed any lag in games as long as I use game mode on it.

I was considering a mac pro until...

Yeah apple rips you off on memory. Just buy 3rd party, it won't void your warranty or anything.

All Mac Switchers... list your favorite software

Textmate, Adium, MacTheRipper, NeoOffice, and OmniOutliner are all amazing and I use most of them every day. Preview, Safari, and iTunes come with the OS of course, but are also excellent.

I'm really interested in getting one of these and OC'ing it. I already have an Antec Smartpower 2.0 500W power supply, it's dual rail though so I'm unsure if that will be a bad thing. 17A on one and 19A on the other. I'm probably going to get a 8800gt to go with it. Do any of you have...
