In-Game flicker after RadeonPro installation

Tried running the game in windowed mode and it works perfectly fine. Which, IMO, means its not a hardware problem. Also, the fact that I have the problem in other games is what bothers me the most, since I only used RadeonPro to make a Skyrim specific profile, I don't see how it could affect...

Ok I did everything and I still have the problem. Its strange its like one card is sending the correct frame but the other card is not so every other frame is "off" and it flickers between the correct frame and the "off" frame but only when the game is paused or in a menu. Is it possible for...

So I installed RadeonPro because I read that it'd help improve Skyrim playability with XFire until ATI releases a CAP which includes Skyrim. Afterwards, I got a weird yellow screen flicker during gameplay whenever I paused or looked at the local map. Figured it was some weird XFire glitch and...

editing boot.ini

I'm trying to manually add a line in the boot.ini file to allow booting into my RC2 version of vista. My XP install was corrupted and I fixed it, but now Vista does not show up in the boot options, and in order to get it back i need to add a line, but i don't know how to identify my Vista drive...

I am using DDR RAM, but I really don't see a need to upgrade my A8R32-MVP Deluxe + Opteron 165 for a while. I am pro-AMD and AM2 doesn't tickle my fancy. Just FYI the RAM i was looking at is Corsair TWINX2048-3500LLPRO.

depends on the game...but i like to go for the highest possible without sacrificing fluidity. Newer games that usually means 1280. I have a CRT so i'm not bound to a certain res

I have an X1900XT and 1GB of RAM. Should i go for the Xfire card or buy 2x1GB sticks of RAM? Which would be more beneficial?

Will video cards really be 300watts?

I read somewhere (probably on AT) that the next generation of video cards is going to increase in wattage yet again, but after that there shouldn't really be any increase. Also in the same report there were pics of a separate PSU for just the video cards which sat in the 5 1/4 drive bay.

Are Hi-Def movies (hd-dvd/bluray) 16:9 or really widescreen like dvds?

Out-of-aspect video annoys me 1000 times more than a couple inches of black on the top/bottom.

Here comes the dreaded price cuts..

So AMD has the performance lead but are too expensive. and Intel has less impressive chips but they give the most bang for your buck. What's happening with the world these days?
