Thanks Ratman and Elixer. It has Windows 7 on it. I don't like Samsung, so any other recommendations? Sandisk? Intel? According to a South Korean friend of mine, Samsung treats their South Korean customers like dirt -- zero manufacturer warranty in South Korea. If it breaks a month after...

Please recommend an SSD for a Dell T1700

I want to upgrade a Dell Precision T1700 with an SSD. What SSD would you recommend for this aging system? I would like to be able to boot to it. This is not cost-sensitive. Looking for a 512GB SSD. OS is Windows 7.

Lol! Cost less than the 650TX I got recently, which is going back to Amazon, unopened. This weekend I start building my i5-2500k system with the 850TX as it's heart.
