Thx, id3dwiz. That makes sense about the sales tax. I believe I had a Sprint csr tell me the store could p/m a Sprint telephone purchase but I could be wrong. Of course, talk is cheap as we're finding out. I'll check it out and let ATHD'ers know.
I was charged tax when I ordered my phone & service from Sprint via phone. I live in TN. Was I supposed to be tax-free? Also, BB has the A900 this week for $149.99 w/no rebates. I paid $199.99 via phone order. U think a local Sprint store will p/m BB for me?
Those of you who did the plan at a non-Sprint retailer (e.g., BB, etc.)...did you deal w/cell phone clerk or customer service desk when you tried to get the sero plan?
If you can find a Sprint store that can get the SERO plan for you, I think they will p/m the Best Buy sale price this week of $179.99. The store mgr near me was able to find the plan online today. I talked to him a little about p/m the BB price and I think he'll do that...I just didn't push him...
id3dwiz,
If you discover you'll be satisfied with the a900, letstalk.com has it for 99.99 after MIR & discount (exp.1/10/06). All you have to do then is find a b&m that'll p/m the sero plan 4 u.:).

Thanks for the reply Meritt. Let me c if I understand what you're saying. My son will not get a referral fee by linking through the SERO referral plan and submitting my name if I (within 60 days) subscribe to the SERO plan? Is that correct? Sounds like this contradicts what the OP is saying. In...
Does this mean a Sprint employee cannot refer someone?
""A referring purchaser and a referred purchaser on prepaid, corporate sponsored business accounts are not eligible for offer."
My son is a Sprint employee and I was going to have him refer me.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx.
Too bad this didn't work in Memphis. Tried it at 2 different stores. Shelf tag read "$89.99 after in-store savings." No rebates printed at register so no luck there. Then, one rebate on the bb website showed it requiring an "online" receipt so that didn't sound good.
Congrats to those who...
So my bb has a sign up that says 89.99 after $10 instant savings. Does that mean the receipt will still print out the 2 $30 rebates plus I can still use the $20 coupon? WOW that's 9.99 plus tax on 89.99, right?
Also, I noticed the item # I'm referencing is WD1200JBRT (no L). Does that matter?
