Riddle of the A8N-SLI POST problem solved !

I just got a non-deluxe A8N-SLI last night. I haven't done any BIOS flashes or anything yet because I haven't been able to get it to show a post screen. I turn it on, the LED's come on, the fans start, but no video, no beeps. I have cleared the CMOS including removing the battery method...

Possible to send audio over IP to standard amp?

You need something like this... Linksys Wireless-B Media Adapter Zensonic makes a Wireless-G version of the same type of product called the Z400. That one will give you more bandwidth.

I need a good 20" viewable CRT

Sony CPG-G520. Trinitron tube, so you do get the two aperture grill lines, but if you can stand that, there is not much bad to say about this monitor.

9800 pro running slow compared to AT Benches

I completely removed and reloaded catalyst 3.4 driver and control panel, reinstalled. Still the same. Tried Fast Writes on/off. AGP speed 4x. Still averaging around 50fps on the default Antalus botmatch benchmark script. Going to Ghost it and start from scratch this weekend with a bare load...

9800 pro running slow compared to AT Benches

New WinXP pro install. Catalyst 3.4. Latest Hyperion drivers. DX9. 'AA/AF disabled' scores are not tremendously better. I have Vsync turned off. I'll tinker with it tonight and see if I can figure out what the problem is. I'll let you guys know if I find anything conclusive.

Yeah I understand that. I am running a tbred 2400+. I expect his to be faster, but I'm beginning to think I have a config problem. For example, at 1024x768, 4xAA, 8xAF, I'm averaging about 40fps as opposed to Anandtech's 160fps. My min frame rate gets as low as 13fps. Granted, I do have all...

I'm comparing my UT2003 benchmark results with the ones in AT reviews but I am getting nowhere near the performance that the review is stating. Can someone point me in the right direction to obtain the settings that Anandtech uses when benchmarking for UT2003? Ex. Are they running the default...

I got 2 with Samsung 4.0ns chips. Default clock is 250/513. Looked like new but prolly not. No wear on the contacts. Ran them both through a couple of round of UT2003 online last night with no hiccups.

Damn.... Sold out in an hour! I got a couple of them. I ordered two PNY from Bestbuy.com last week inside the store for the $79.99 price, but they are mysteriously "backordered." It's funny because the retail stores are chock full of them now. I bet they stay backorded until the 30 day...
