Changing default drive to (C:)?

A friend has a computer with the only hard drive named (G: ) instead of (C: ). I'm guessing this was caused by a flash reader taking (C: ) first. Is there a way to re-name the hard drive to (C: ) without installing windows from scratch?

Only one hard drive in the system and he doesn't have a removable/external drive. Not networked either.

I just had a friend call me and say that when he tries to open certain documents he sometimes gets this error message: "g:\documents does not exist" He is using: Windows XP SP2 Athlon 2700 7600gs 120GB HD Any ideas are appreciated.

35mhz difference on memory will not make a large difference. Go for the higher cpu clock.

PCI Video Card for Half-Life 2?
