A friend has a computer with the only hard drive named (G: ) instead of (C: ). I'm guessing this was caused by a flash reader taking (C: ) first. Is there a way to re-name the hard drive to (C: ) without installing windows from scratch?
I just had a friend call me and say that when he tries to open certain documents he sometimes gets this error message: "g:\documents does not exist"
He is using:
Windows XP SP2
Athlon 2700
7600gs
120GB HD
Any ideas are appreciated.

Get this if you plan to use a monitor with a dvi plug ( it's $3 more, why not?)

This is the best pci card I'm aware of. It will be bottlenecked by the pci bus, so it won't be as fast as the agp/pci-e versions.
