I started testing it in VM about a week ago. So far I like it, thinking about going ahead and installing it to replace my windows 8.1.

Your first dedicated GPU?

3dfx Voodoo3 2000 PCI. Bought it at walmart when my compaq presario 4540 couldnt handle Unreal.

What is Your Favorite GPU You Ever Owned? Your Least Favorite?

My first video card was a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI card. I had purchased Unreal and couldnt play it with the onboard graphics....went out to walmart and picked it up. Was shocked at the difference it made. Unfortunately the cooling in that compaq tower was inadequate.....it basically burned itself...

video cards are only enabled during 3D applications?

The last "Optimus" laptop I had was a Lenovo. In the bios you could select Optimus, iGPU or dGPU. Might be vendor specific, or maybe they are all this way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What was the event that led to the most physical pain you've ever felt?

Spring for a boat lift cover broke and came back for a direct hit. Eye was full of blood, went into panic mode because I thought I lost it when I couldn't see. 7 stitches, which wouldn't be a big deal..except this ER doc was pretty crafty. He did nothing to numb it as he claimed that would...

Largest percent pay increase?

Uh....in the early years of my peon career, part time at a Dairy Queen. Wage increase, paid vacation, bigger Christmas bonus....why...he believed men were better workers. That was 20 years ago....never had a pay raise or benefit raise that had compared since. Now, make way more....BUT...

Sapphire Nitro Fury Undervolt/Underclock

What CPU(s) did you use for your friend's or family members gaming rig?

Last few requests for builds have been for high performance machines with a 2K budget. Went with i7 in both builds, i5 in the most recent due to budget constraints. My dad is currently rocking an old e8400 C2D, but he doesn't do anything other than web browsing and simple online games...
