I still haven't received the DK2 but based on all the input i will defiantly wait before building the new pc and depending on the DK2 performance with my current pc i'l decide if I need to grab a 980.

Thank you for your responses; I thought it was due out sometime in 2015, I also ordered the Development Kit 2 and was hoping it would benefit from this pc build. Can anyone tell me if nvidia will release a more power graphics card than the 980 such as 980ti by the end of 2015? I don't know...

The frame rate cap seems to help. Still stutters here and there but has improved overall, thank everyone for their help!

To do this I need to use global settings correct? So when I enable "Use advanced 3D image settings" instead of "Let 3D app decide" in the nvidia control panel, are there any other tweaks I should make in the Global Settings tab? ex Ambient Occlusion is currently set to off, fxaa is off, etc...

Thanks so much for the help I really appreciate it. I will give the fps limiter a try. Would it be ok If I used an app such as Dxtory instead of the Nvidia Inspector, only because i was told to leave nvidia set to "let 3D app decide".
