I mean for me it would be worth the extra $200, especially given the sensitivity/fragility of the object you're buying. I want to know it has been taken care of well. Some people are fine with it and some people aren't. Just my opinion on used electronics. Though I guess a majority of DSLR users...

Bought a d3100

I've found that learning with the D5100 was really easy. I honestly didn't mess with the other settings, I just had it on auto all the time but I loved messing with the lens. Being able to focus on objects you want is probably the most gratifying feeling ever. You'll really like the D3100 too I...

I had the D5100, but strangely I got shutter issues within 2 weeks of owning the camera. It was really inconvenient when it happened because I lost some great photo opporunities to take with friends. Anyway, I returned it. Best Buy had it for $900 with a 55-200mm kit lens. Newegg this...

Time To Upgrade?

Are you watching your stream at the same time? When you play the game? Also, have you looked at your CPU usage when you play and don't steam as well as when you play and stream? Streaming does use a lot of CPU power for me. What's wrong exactly? Your frames stuttering in game?

Very thorough but I must ask, this CPU is like AMD's Pentium 4. Longer pipes, poorer execution compared to a Phenom II X6 in everyday tasks. This CPU is better suited towards people who need serious raw power, i.e. media rendering, etc. So they will likely have bigger budgets. Why wouldn't they...

Need help deciding what laptop to get

Thanks Zap, I have a friend who actually got the XPS 14z, and apparently the Vostro is the business version of the XPS/Inspirion. It looks pretty neat. EDIT Got it. Gonna get the XPS 15Z and load it with a quad core i7. Thanks :D
