New Balance Shoes Made in USA
My 992 are definitely Made in USA...but you are right about only a portion being made in the USA. It is mostly there more expensive shoes.
Same goes for my all time favorite sock: Gold Toe. Some, but not all are made in USA.
I'm in love with three products I recently bought, all manufactured in America:
New Balance 992 Running Shoes
Grado SR60 Headphones
Steelcase Leap Chair
I want to start supporting American manufacturing more, but found really shitty webpages when I searched for how to support American...
You probably didn't actually scratch the LCD, just the plastic lcd covering. It should be a cheap user-replaceable part. I had to take off the plastic covering on my Rebel XT because there was a bunch of dust between it and the screen. Used a big suction cup and it came off.
Nikon's...
I've been buying Banana Republic and Express clothes when they go on massive sales for the past few years. I feel like I'm paying for style and not quality. The shirts don't wash up that well, the sweaters get holes in them, and the pants fade quickly.

Those three lenses coupled with a 24-70/2.8 and 70-200/2.8 make for a killer combo...I'm slowing building that kit up. I have lens 1 and 3. That said, this is a BIG day for Nikon.
Seriously though...those are some world class lenses that Canon offers. The D200+18-200VR just tempted me...but Nikon's prime lenses sure could use some updates. Seems the only thing of recent vintage from Nikon is zooms and super telephoto primes.
