Long Overdue Upgrade Needed

Thanks mnewsham, I'll keep my eye out for something cheaper but why don't you like OCZ? They seem to perform well in benchmarks for their price. I'm thinking maybe I should get a i5 3570K instead since they should be available by the time I buy, any thoughts on that? I think that motherboard...

The 3rd Folding@Home Holiday Season Race in December 2008

So my production has really dwindled lately, I've been really unstable. I'm replacing my motherboard today, hopefully that's my only problem but there is a possibility either my GTX280 or my PSU is also bad. Anyway I should be back up by tomorrow, and I have a C2D at work I need to borg today...

farcry2 vs. crysis

Crysis looks better, no contest. And there is tons more going on in Crysis, it's a giant jungle with a huge view distance, there are more trees to render in one scene of Crysis than there is in all of FC2. I have no excuse though why Crysis runs like crap on the ship. I do like the graphics...

F@H Error

Probably a bad WU, and you will get it 3 times in a row at the same spot. When that happens you can delete your work files and queue.dat and it will download the WU again, do this twice after getting a EUE and you will get a different WU.

Those of you that have Vista SP2 installed

Vista auto defrag

Yeah the Folding CPU client can run while I game, it will only use CPU cycles which are available to it, I have to shut down the GPU client though, it causes games to stutter.
