460W: overkill?

I got the TP 550 today and it seems to run fine. However, I'm reading very low voltages 11.3 4.8 2.9 1.5 However, I don't have any stability issues (yet?). 2.9 vs 3.3 seems especially low. What do you guys think? Athlon 64 3400 (205 FSB for now), 2xRaptor SATA, 1xIDE, 1xCDROM, ATI 9700

How do you know that these are good/no good types of memory (I mean where did you get the info from?) I learned from my own stupid personal experience that ValueRam 2700 and TWINX512-3200LLPT are no good.

Also, I found another weird thing about this board. I disabled the "APIC Mode" feature in "Advanced BIOS" and WinXP simply stopped booting up! WHY?!!!!! It freezes on the mup.sys if I try to launch it in safe mode... According to EPOX's manual APIC is supposed to provide symmetric...

Epox 8RDA+ and Kingston Value Ram...Be Careful!

So this review site discovered something that I knew for the last two weeks. 8RDA+ is WEIRD!!! These guys are describing my situation exactly. So 8RDA+ doesn't work with Kingstom ValueRam 2700, it doesn't work with Corsair XMS 3200LLPT. What the heck?! Link to Ninjalane article You may have...

I do not overclock at all. It works fine with the expensive memory, but the pain to find that sweet spot where it works at all is INSANE!

OK, I picked up 2x256 Corsair XMS 3200LLPT (freakin' 180 bucks). Well, the ONLY way this memory runs on my board is at "By SPD Timiing" and Optimal settings. THAT'S IT. When I try to set up things manually - EXPERT - I get NO POST, can't even go to BIOS. This is insane!!!

Stock retail AMD cooler. 1.775 vcore, 2.77 vdimm. CPU temperature hovers in the 50-55C range. Is that high?

It's supposed to run at 11x. It runs solid at 11.0, 11.5, 12.0, 12.5, but that's it :(( wah!

I can set a multiplier to ANYTHING. But the system does not POST at anything over 12.5

Finally happy with my EPoX 8RDA+

What really makes me NOT want to RMA the board is the built-in sound chip. OMG, what a great sounding setup (with my Klipsch 2.1 speakers).

I've got a Barton 2500+ and it absolutely refuses to run at anythyng over 12.5x I'm pissed :))

yes. it works with a 330 build. 155x12.5, 155 RAM seems to be stable
