Do GOrbs manage 700e@933 w/o to many probs

OCz ppl currently have 700e's@933 for $165, and i was going to pick up GOrbs for 8 bucks a bop. Seems pretty good, but if you fellas can inform me on a better situation ...such as your own wares, then id be happy to hear/do buisness with ya. what about the cooling situation? GOrbs surfice...

As the title suggests. Will be buying a couple of p3 700e's from overclockerz.com guaranteed to do 933, will GOrbs be sufficient to carry out the cooling task? Cheers, C.

Better: 700e@133FSB or 800eb@~150FSB ?

^ On a MoBo that is happy @ high FSB (i815/133a), along with the components sitting in it.

Compuwiz, Think your missin the Qn. Given the two scenarios, and components able to handle their busses O'Ced from spec (including mem, like using PC150 or Mushkin Rev2), and after the math, even tho 700e@133 has a 'slightly higher internal clock than 800eb@150'(yup, 931 cf 900), is there...

Greets. If you have the RAM to handle a high FSB, which configuration in title does best? Better performance from an insync cpu-memory bus @ ~150 or 700e clocked to 133, for a slightly higher internal clock than 800eb @ ~150, but a slower overall system buss. cheers.

What to spec.-up a 3d workstation with?

Cant afford a pre-built workstation. Benskywalker, do you have any suggestions on what graphics card to go with? (for running maya primarily). Or a bit early to make a call with upcoming releases? I cant go a new wildcat, but perhaps a secondhand 4000, what do you think they're worth...

Eli. I am fairly well read on HW basics, i do more than a 'little research before you[i] post'. I do sup up those benchmarks and commentaries, but i ware them realising that they only partially describe how a system will perform in a given environment. I have very little hardware experience...

Sure, but how does that spankin' FPU translate its performance in realworld application ussage? It appears to help with rendering, which can be benchmarked, but how does it perform with other application tasks? Anyone got boxes at work that run side by side on the two different platforms, and...

xtreme2k, Yeah, stability. Save the time a quicker setup would have lent you by dealing with less maintenance. But you always wonder the what-if tho, people do manage to run via solid. Can ask what you run on? ...and if you had a chance to purchase a totally new system with whats now, what...

On the BX side of things, i think your certainly right about stability ..but speed i think comes in with the O'Cing, where the chipset shows superb memory performance with robust bus scaling...but at default 100 it is just solid. I think opening up the system bus, and running with cas2 PC133...
