Vertices Per Second

Anyone know how to figure out what a card's vertice per second calculation speed is? Like how fillrate is calculated with the core clockspeed times the number of pipelines (and texture units in some cases). Or is there no formula for that?

So are you saying all that matters is clockspeed and pipelines when it comes to theoretical performance? And also, the article did say that not all the pixels on the screen can be processed at the same time, so that's what led me to come up with such low numbers. Then I thought registers were...

I have looked at the benchmarks. Many, many times, from different sources. I'm not trying to figure who "should" perform better, or who actually does perform better, I'm trying to find out if my understanding of the architecture is correct. And to the second statement, I've clearly acknowledged...

Performance Issue with 6800

Using 3 DIMMs on an Abit NF7-S

Will I really be limited to DDR333 speeds? Or is it possible to get it higher than that? I know revision 1.0 was able to get to DDR400 and higher with all three slots filled (I have V2.0). Right now I'm running an FSB of 220.

Problems with 9700 Pro holding its overclock

I have a graphics card that will not keep an overclock. One day it will be fine at a particular setting, the next it will have problems with that same setting. I used to have a 9800 Pro, and that never had that problem, so I'm pretty sure it's not something else in my system causing the problem...

Best PSU for $50 or less?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I was hoping it would be a bit more unanimous than that. :P Now I'm not sure what all to look at. How good are those other sites that sell them for cheap? I'm pretty careful about where I buy from, and I like to go with places like New Egg and eXcaliberPC.com.

Best PSU for $50 or less?

Was looking at Thermaltake Silent PurePower 420W, but I realize the brand name is more important than raw wattage. I'd like to hear your opinion about it.
