Where do *you* buy your PCs?

I was wondering where you buy your PCs or if you build them yourself who do you use as your main supplier and possibly builder? For example, I know that Directron.com will allow you to select individual parts and then will assemble them for you. I am sure that other sites will do the same...

If you are referring to the Dorthan (sp?) CPU's, I think they are not scheduled to be released until February. If that is the case, then systems (more than 1 or 2 anyway - enough to bring down the price) will most likely not be available until around May. Take the Centrino systems for example...

I think I've just experienced the next generation of spam?

If you go to WebRoot's web site, and click to do the Free Check for the SpyTracker (or whatever it is named), it will tell you what spyware if any is running on your system. If your system checks out fine then it has to be the media stream you were listening to or the player downloading an ad...

Another item to keep in mind about the Dell 8600 is to view their support forums. There are a lot of people complaining about the flimsy keyboard and most returned their laptops within 48 hours.
