DEAD....WD Retail kit 1TB Black at Staples.com $79.99 (YMMV) WD1002FAEX 64MB

I am not 100% knowledgeable on HDD but this is the SATA 3.0Gb/s 32MB cache not the SATA 6.0Gb/s 64MB cache which Newegg has for $10 more for the same size (1 TB). Oddly enough the 32MB cache version, the one on sale for $89 @staples is $119 at newegg

My apologies for eBay linking, I haven't reread the forum rules since being active again. I understand the reasoning behind it. When reliable re-sellers do use eBay it seems to be fire sales and very limited inventory it would seem.

Causes for Freezes in Win7

I memtested the ram and seemed ok @ 5-5-5-15 another interesting symptom, if that's what you want to call it, is sometimes upon rebooting after the crash, the network adapter is gone, disappeared. Win 7 doesn't notice it and it is not disabled or anything, just gone from the device Manager...

Bootup Issues

As far as I know everything is compatible, I doubt the Corsair 620 HX is remotely near capacity as nothing is OC'd anymore and its a 620 Watt PSU for a single medium GPU. Now the ram - cpu relationship I admit, I never really study/read much upon but I believe they are compatible still.
