My 3dmark06 score seems too low...

I have an ASUS HD4850 (not overclocked), a Q6600 at default speeds (2.4ghz), and 4 gigs of DDR2-1066 GSkill RAM that's currently running at DDR2-800 speeds. When I ran 3dmark06, I got 11,815 points. Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with the program, but this seems a bit too low to me. Is something...

New Q6600, can't get it to stock 2.4ghz

I have a Q6600 on an Asus P5Q Pro mobo. According to CPU-Z, it was at 1.6ghz. I wondered why it wasn't at the stock 2.4ghz, so I read the sticky and disabled speedstep, which should have left the multiplier at 9 instead of bumping it down to 6 when the CPU isn't under load. Well, that didn't...

New WinXP Pro install with a 640G WD HD. Need partitioning software advice

It seems as if the full 640G drive is seen in BIOS, so I would think that it was recognized during the POST. The SATA driver is on the motherboard driver install disc. How would I load this during the winxp setup? would I load it during the time when xp prompts you to press F6 to load...

P45 Chipset and Crossfire

So, it seems to me that since the P45 mobo I'm looking at has TWO PCIE 2.0 x 16 slots, if I run crossfire, each card will run like a single card would in a standard PCIE x16 slot (so it wouldn't be bogged down at all). Correct?

New Gaming Build

700W is overkill, but I want to try to "future proof" at least a few components in this system. I'm staying with the 700W in hopes that I don't have to get a new PSU the next time I upgrade in a couple years or so. =D Thanks for all the help.
