Gentoo linux a.k.a How I wasted 3 hours!

Ok ... try this. Boot off the install CD. When you get to the prompt mount your / and /boot partitions. (same as the install repeated below) mkdir /mnt/gentoo mount /dev/hdax /mnt/gentoo (replace x with the correct number of course) mkdir /mnt/gentoo/boot mount /dev/hdax /mnt/gentoo/boot...
