Can't PM

I already checked the popup blocker and added Anandtech to the trusted list. Can't seem to find any JavaScript settings anywhere though. What's weird is that it sometimes works, and most of the time doesn't. And it shows me that I have new PMs, but when I try to open them, it does the same...

Can't PM

I haven't been able to PM since I installed Windows Vista. When I try, it pops open the PM window briefly, then it closes and is gone. It has worked a few random times, but most of the time it will not. Any ideas?

Connecting a tablet PC to home PC

we tried a PMCIA NIC, but Win95 didn't have the drivers (and there's no CD-ROM or floppy drive on this tablet to install the drivers from.) No local shops had Null modem cables, so we had to buy one from eBay :( Should be here in a few days and we can try to set it up with that. If there are...

Sorry, I missed the OS part. You will need to have either a hub/switch or a crossover cable or the computers will not be able to "talk" to each other. Crossover cables are the cheapest method to go, but also the most unreliable. a small hub is generally more reliable and easier to diagnose...

It would help if you posted the Operating Systems on the machines. You can typically setup different networking setups and then specify names for them (ie home and work) and then choose which one you are connected to. Probably setting up a simple TCP/IP network would be easiest and most...
