New Development Job, No Degree. Any Advice?

Thanks beginner99. I don't think he wants to commit the time for a full BS degree. Would an associates do anything for him with the experience he has or is the BS really the minimum worth doing? Thanks again.

Offline turn by turn navigation app for android ?

I've used CoPilot Live 8 in the past (and plan to do so on my next road trip). It does the job without an active data connection (main reason for using) and the voice direction sounds half decent (i.e. the google navigation "robot" voice is well...). Could be a little faster, but very usable...

HTC Hero - Good Intro to Android?

I just received my nexus one. Initial impressions...

Agreed, US Patent system is quite inept. There seems to be patents on the most basic things. I could see on pinching/zooming, but general touching. Crazy. I.e. "1-Click purchase", just weak.
