Velocity Micro 22" w220 LCD

I just got back from my bestbuy in Marina, Ca. It was listed for 212.99. They wouldn't price match the other bestbuy cause they were out of stock. They gave me 10 percent off, I ended up getting it at 191.69

xtknight, have you heard of the Velocity Micro W220? I like this lcd particularly because it's made of non junky plastic materials. The only other aluminum lcd I know of is the Apple one. I couldn't find a review of it anywhere btw.

xtknight, I love your thread, I've used it for some time now. The one problem I have with it is that the "hardcore gaming" section has monitors that absolutely no hardcore gamer would use these days. As in 5:4 ratio stuff. Any gamer will tell you that you'd be crazy to not go widescreen...

Hey, xtknight, what do you think of the Gateway FHD2400? I'm looking for something that can double as a tv (ps3) and a pc monitor, so I need both the DVI and hdmi. I saw it at CC it looked pretty good.

xtknight, I have to choose from one of these lcd's. I'm making a return at Staples for a new lcd, and can only select from their very limited inventory. Gateway FPD2185W Samsung 225BW Acer X221WSD I need one for everything, including games, movies, -everything. The Gateway is appealing...

xtknight, have you seen the Maximum Pc review of the NEC 20WMGX2? They gave it a 4. They said it was majorly flawed, and other bad stuff. Are they talking about the same lcd thats on your list, or am I missing something here?

xtknight, you should update the prices on these monitors; price is a big factor for most people. The 90GX2 is only $380 now. Shoot, the ViewSonic VX922 is only $270. These things are just getting ridiculously cheap.
