Is there any way (in a couple of steps) to downsize all images in a folder? I am storing (hundreds of) images that were scanned in at 600 dpi and I only need them to be 100 dpi.
Also, if I did decide to use the new HD just as additional storage, would it be safe to copy all of her pictures / music to the additional drive, then do a restore on the main drive?
Thanks.
I am working on a computer for a relative, and her hard drive is full. What would be the best way to integrate the new hard drive?
It's a Sony PC that comes with a restore disk - will it work to simply install Windows XP (from the restore disk) on the new hard drive? - or will I have to copy...
I was recently setting up a computer that had a trial of WinZip on it. I didn't want Winzip, so I uninstalled it. Now the computer does not have the option to create or extract a compressed (zipped) folder. Does anyone know how to enable that option in Windows XP?
I work at a bank and after an IT audit, they wanted me to disable local file sharing on one of the computers. Does anyone know what the auditors are talking about?
Thanks

These are small documents, so they wouldn't need to be downsized in order to fit.
I have used Horde and Squirrel before... not too impressed with the interface.
I was hoping for a well-designed, clean interface, like hotmail, but without the ads.
Pardon my ignorance, but is POP3 web-based?
If I would get my own domain name, do I have a list of clients to choose from, such as Squirrel Mail, ect.? And how would I hook that up to my email?
