74gb Raptor 8mb VS. 74gb Raptor 16mb

I have two of these stripped in a RAID 0 and in HD Tach I am bursting at over 200MB/sec. on the 8MB cache version. Anything faster and we would be in ludicrous speed.

Koolance Setup

Koolance and Corsair offer some really good external solutions. personally i have only used the Corsair unit, and i can say that it is plenty of cooling even if your thinking about overclocking. i had a 2.4c overclocked to 3.6Ghz at 1.625v all day under one of those puppies. very easy to use...

A cool looking heatsink/fan?

definatly the Zalman 7000A-Cu. its solid copper and has 200 fins which make it look like a beast when its installed. i have one on my fx53 which shows through my window side panel. looks killer and its functional. keeps my hot a$$ fx53 at 35c idle, and 45c load.

watercooling primary HD?

i have used many different types of watercooling, phase change, and other exotic methods of cooling. i have never used a custom HDD cooler though. if you are paranoid and think your drive needs it, then by all means, cool that sucker! ;) but i have never had any problems with overheating a HDD...

How should I set up my drives?

if i were you, i would get those optical drives seperate from each other. do not put 2 optical drives on the same channel. i suggest using one HDD and one optical per channel.
