Hotter than the fires of hell!!! Look at this laptop!

probably not the same as the Dell. The Dell Smartstep 250N uses Intel 845 chipset, which is a desktop chipset supporting SDRAM. that is in line with their saying the machines use SDRAM (256M), while the Medions are said to be using DDR RAM (and 512M)!

Outlook Express in w98se wont run after reinstall!

I once had a similiar problem on my w2k pro with IE5.1. search microsoft.com for msoe.dll and you'll see that's a known problem. they say it's because when you update IE they somehow didn't update msoe.dll right. however their solution, which is to delete everything under c:\program...

Is the Pioneer DVD all that it's cracked up to be?

The region free means that if your friend went on a trip to asia and brought back a load of pirated DVD movies, you'll be able to watch them. personally I'm using a first generation DVD-rom from Toshiba, the SD-M1002. it's 1x :o and it doesn't read CD-Rs, but it plays the movies and it's pretty...

Help!!! Can't access bios after changing memory to 2-2-2

Try holding "Insert" key when you power up your computer. For some motherboards that makes it use the default/autodetect bios to boot. You can also try power it up->no post->power it down->wait a couple min->power up again... some times that makes the motherboard to use default bios.
