Is Doom 3 a Directx9 game?

When I say this I mean is Doom 3 a game that was made specifically for DirectX 9. I was under the impression that Doom 3 was meant to take full advantage of DirectX 8 but now I hear it takes full advantage of DirectX 9. Is that correct?

Xbox vs. PS2

My suggestion to you is if you are really into Japanese RPGs and if you want to play older games like GTA3 buy a then PS2 but if you want to play games that have yet to be released go by the game that is being released first. Ninja Gaiden will most likely come out this year (November 18), MGS 3...

If you use NTFS Encryption, read this

Isn't the bestt way to backup and restore your Private Key by backing up your system state and restoring it when after you re-install your OS I know that this works for 2000.

To Anyone With a Gainward Ti4200...Read

According to the artical that was linked at the top of this thread The card that had this problem was the 64mb version. Have there been problems with the 128mb version of the 4200 series cards?

I have a PIII 866 133 fsb that I bought along a duel socket 370 with a onboard ultra160 controller that I bought for 105 bucks at a computer show June. I was hoping to get another 866 for the same cost but that isn't happening anytime soon ,so I've decided to sell the 866 and get 2 Celeron 1.2's...
