I must 2nd (or 3rd really) DocYahoo & Rossman - wait a week and see what happens with the monitor. I've seen many monitors that are blurry or have discolorations after delivery that clear up after being plugged in for a while. I've been told it can be caused by being exposed to a magnetic...
Well, since the other offer is gone now, I have to go by what they display on the site. Here's the legal footnote for the 20% off Dell branded merchandise:
Valid for new U.S. Dell Home Systems Software and Accessories online purchase only. Offer does not apply to system purchases Prices...
One of the things that drove me away from Anandtech for a while was what I'm starting to see here now. Come on, the company ended the sale 3-4 days ago, some people still got the deal up til today (good intentions and all), and people are screaming about bait & switch!?! They had a good...
This is the business store. All states get charged tax for this area.
You'll have to go to the home section to avoid tax. Unfortunately, they usually have different deals (although I haven't checked recently).

I can't find the rebate at this exact moment, but it's out there (I'll look in the morning). You have to call in to get the 20% (and it REALLY ends on July 3rd). It worked for me today :)
EDIT: Here's the link to the thread on this.

Hey!! You can get the PCI Radeon here (Dell ATI Radeon PCI AIW).
It's $201.95, but Dell has 20% off until July 3rd. That's $161.56 (minus $30 rebate = 131.56). They also have free shipping over $100.
Too bad they charge tax in Texas - but I'll still get one for $145 final cost :)

I was also in Junior High. However, no VCR at the time, so I had to wake up at 6am to watch it. Now I just need to schedule 40+ hours some time to watch the whole thing once it's completely released :)
Alphasilk,
There are 6 episodes per DVD. Macross saga is something like 42 episodes (so 7 DVDs). Southern Cross is ~20 (so 3-4 more). Next generation is ~20 (so 3-4 more).
I'd guess they'll have 6-8 boxed sets to cover the whole story line.

Macross is the original anime. It has spawned many versions in Japan. In the 1980s, an American company decided to produce a TV cartoon based on it, but Macross didn't have enough episodes for a full run. They took the animation from Macross and 2 other (unrelated) animes and produced one...
The pre-order at Robotech.com is for the original Macross anime (NOT the Macross saga of Robotech). It's remastered animation, but isn't part of the Robotech continuity.
(oops - manly beat me to it)
You can get the individual DVDs for cheaper. 1&2 (which are contained in boxed set 1) are...
Hey! For all of us old-timers that remember Robotech back in the 80s - the DVDs are being released. I just picked mine up at Amazon:
Robotech DVD (this is the boxed set with the first 2 DVDs and the bonus material DVD) - $34.99 (retails at $45).
Add any book, DVD, CD to bring the total up to...
Buy online - no purchase order number necessary (credit card, e-check, lease, something else).
It is in the Small Business section, but aren't we all Small Businesses? I've sold stuff before (garage sales, ebay, etc). I think that qualifies...
