Nvidia TV Tuners

I'm looking to getting a TV Tuner card and was thinking of getting a Nvidia TV tuner w/MPG2 hardward encoding and was wondering if anyone has had experience and if they are compatible with the main PVR type applications, ie: Sage, Beyond TV, MythTV, etc... I'm also consider the Hapauge's, but...

All IN Wonder Cards--do I need to go higher than 8500dv for multimedia non gaming box

I have the following: ATI 8500DV AIW ATI 9700 Pro AIW BFG 6800GT OC ATI TV Wonder Happauge WinTV Radio I can honestly say that if you are strictly going to be using it for a HTPC type of environment and now gaming, go with the 8500 AIW. You can pick them up on ebay for like $35-$50...

Well I must be the luckiest man alive... I just got my second 2005 two days ago and just unpacked it. Another perfect one, albeit minimal backlighting bleed in the top right hand corner.... But let me say this, I have NEVER noticed any of the backlight problems before reading these...

9700 Heatsink standoffs

I need to put my original heatsink and fan back on my 9700 but seem to have lost the two plastic standoffs that mount this to the video card, does anyone know where I can purchase these standoffs or do you have a dead/upgraded card that you can spare the two standoffs? Thanks!

The picture quality is a little bad, I'm not a professional photographer. ;) I'll have the wife take better ones later.... This is in the dark with WoW loaded on the 2005 and Rivatuner running on the Viewsonic... Click here. Then this next one is with the flash which kinda blocked out...

DVD playback CPU utilization oddity...

Ok, I'm running the latest 71.20 drivers but did not purchase the Nvidia special decoder to unlock the "video processor". I like many other people have witnessed when using programs like WinDVD, Nero DVD Player, and Windows Media player to view DVD's about 20-25% CPU utilization on a P4-3.06...

Well my 2005FPW just arrived tonight and I have it all hooked up. When I first hooked it up I scoured the monitor for the backlight issue so many people have said they have had and I didn't appear to have any issues, then I moved into the Dead pixel test and I thought I had one bad pixel...

Best Card for <$100

If they have a working video card (doesn't matter how old), to use the ATI trade-up program. They currently have a 9600XT for $119.00. Not a bad card for that price. Link is here.

Question on new BFG 6800GT and 2005FPW

So know have a 6800GT and a new Dell widescreen setup to help? Anyways, it's in Production right now according to their website with an expected arrival date on my doorstep of December 27th. :D I guess, I'll know soon enough!
