I joined this forum today just to report on my experience with the Averatec 3225. Very simple: Read all the reviews on line, including Laptop Magazine's BEST BUY review. Got laptop from Circuit City on 7/30/04 as replacement for aging Thinkpad. Used it at home and traveling and loved it...
