Any AT'ers with the XP 1700+/1800+ T-Bred B's yet?

Just got my tbred b jiuhb 0302 from excaliber pc. Running at 2ghz @ 1.65v on an epox 8rda+. I haven't tried pushing it any further but I haven't been able to get the thing to crash either. Very stable. I might try pushing it more, just to see what I 'can' get. Maybe not...

Should I get Kingston HyperX PC3000 or Samsung PC3200??

whats the difference between this TRUE 3200 Samsung and the samsungs that don't say true. I looked on the knowledge micro site and it doesn't say true, plus the picture looks different then neweggs true 3200 samsung...any comments?

New to o/c'ing - what to do?

Mainly I just want to know if overclocking is a viable option given my equipment. If I have to spend alot of money on a HSF and cooling gear, I can just use that money towards upgrading my cpu/mobo anyways. But if I can spend 30-40 bucks and get my 1700+ to at least a 2000-2100 that would be...

what do I have hooked up to it? gf3 ti 200 (soon to be a radeon 9500), SB audigy, d-link NIC, 2 hd's, floppy, 3 case fans, and a 48x burner...

Okay I've never done this before, I just need someone to point me in the right direction. Right now I have a xp1700+ w/ an epox 8kta mobo. Stock HSF. My case is an old antec 1030B or something. The PSU says 300w on it. Pc2100 Crucial ddr. I want to overclock but is it a viable option? I know I...

My resolution is and always has been 1600x1200. I can notice a huge improvement from crt's to lcd's so I know my eyes aren't bad! I just couldn't tell a huge diff in 2d quality.

Just bought this thing from CC to see if I liked it and I got +5000 points in 3dMark2001 System is a xp 1700+, 512 pc2100, epox mobo, System before w/ gf3 ti 200 = 7500 System after w/ Radeon 9700pro = 12500 Wow!! I didn't notice any difference in visual 2d Quality though...not sure what...

thanks for the review AT. I think I'm going to take this samsung back and keep my sony g500. I compared both sitting next to eachother and the LCD is definitely clearer, it's just a LOT more money for just a tad bit of clearness. Also doesn't run in the resolution I'd like and I can see a LITTLE...

Hmmm....after I did that crisp enricher thing in XP...text looks great! But...there is a slight reddish tint/blurr coming from all the letters if you look close...wtf is this??
