Problems with Vista

Hi QueBert, I was using an old IDE PATA66 drive with Vista64 and got the same stuff over and over. Thought it was the cable. Then, I Figured out it was the drive. Replaced it with an SATAII never had another problem. That was Wifey's machine. On this one I'm using now, I have one IDE...

Some gams like counterstrike: source have VOIP integrated. Got a new head set not sure what software to use.

Sorry for the Threadjack.. I was making an observation regarding my rig and 3 way SLI. *dreaming really*. Keysplayer, my 32 inch is only 1360 x 768 should have room for alot of AA. 3d Mark 06 is around 15500 I forget exactly. Latest Beta drivers 169.28 and 15.01 680i chipset. I can eek...

3 Way SLi

COD 4 is very playable. Bioshock too if i don't use more that 2xAA. Believe it or not. Crysis drops to 10 - 15 FPS on the Paradise Lost level. That's not even on Very High. Just on High. Have to turn off shadows or drop to Medium to keep it playing....

3 Way SLi

I find it sort of frustrating that even with my quad and a pair 8800 GTS's (which is alot of money for me) I can't play the latest games at high settings with any AA. Sorta looks like I'll have to budget for the extreme high end.... or give up my passion. Maybe golf will be more affordable...

Enough Horsepower for 1920*1080P?

I use a 720P HDTV @ 1360x768. Try increasing your Digital Vibrance to 25-30%. Made a world of difference for me. :beer:

I use a Reserator 2 lots of fin surface. I added an swiftech pump to boost volume. It is wonderfully quiet. My loop includes CPU/NB/SB/SLI and never breaks 50C even overclocked.
