If you have a decent quality needle on your turntable and your records are in relatively good condition, you shouldn't need to denoise anything. Not only that, but denoising would take away a lot of the "warmth" of the vinyl.

I have the controller mentioned above and really like it. I have a door on my case, so the LEDs don't really bug me, definitely worth the few bucks that it cost.
I have the logitech dinovo 2.0 combo and in my mind it was worth every penny. It's a nice and quiet keyboard, so far have had no problems (then again, I avoided installing the setpoint software). I even spilled coffee literally all over both the media pad and the keyboard the other day, still...
I just received my wonderful replacement from Maxtor. It's a 300gb "Refurbished to Maxtor standards" drive. Should I even bother putting data on this thing or is it too risky?
Definitely a solid idea, although I don't think you need to make it as complicated. If you look on the hardforums, they have tested in a variety of ways such as running a clock that has milliseconds on both screens at the same time, then seeing if there is a difference. Or stretching a window...
Thank you. I'm fairly certain that although I don't do any competitive gaming, the general feeling of "sluggishness" would annoy me, even if it is just a little bit. Especially doing cad/3d stuff, I seriously think it would get on my nerves.
