I got lucky on this one. Looked at desktops, sorted for cheapest hoping there'd be a pricing mistake...
There was a Dell All-in-One system that was priced incorrectly at $25 plus shipping. MY brother and I got pretty lucky. They actually shipped! Score one for the chaos caused by a...
I might be wrong... but isn't this the same model that Best Buy currently sells for $350? So the savings is basically tax... and you have to send in the rebate to make it worth it?
I'm probably missing something...
Yeah, I saw your post... and wanted to order one for my setup but I didn't pull the trigger in time. It was OOS and now it appears your link doesn't point to a valid FRYs page anymore. I'm guessing they're gone, but I really haven't searched.
Your thread actually got me searching FRYS for...
I'd offer to let people know when it arrives... but the rebate deal is going to expire on the 31st. For almost 1/3 of similarly-spec'd products, it's worth a risk to me... cheapskate that I am.

Yeah, I had the same issue. I was worried that there was no Belkin part number listed in the description, and "PF38" doesn't line up with any of their products.
I spent a good bit of time on the phone with FRYS customer service and sales and they managed to nail down the following:
The...
UPDATE: Looks like they're sold out...
Found this warmish deal as I've been ordering components for my rack-mounted home theater:
**$50 rebate is only good on purchases through 3/31**
PureAV at FRYS - $149.99--->$99 AR
Belkin Product Page - MSRP $399.99
Listing @ Newegg
Features...
I'm pretty sure no one can answer that difinitively unless they're in Dell's manufacturing or QC division. Currently, they're testing to see if they do in fact "ALL" do it... or even if a statistically significant portion do.

RideFree - yeah... if you want to pay a whopping 89.00 of shipping.
Re: shipping - I orderd mine yesterday @ 3:15. They said it would ship in 3-5 days, so I was prepared to wait. Got the shipping notice today at 7:15am. Tracking number is active. Can't wait.

The color banding is an issue I am sure... but as with all things I was balancing my desire for screen real estate, price and features. When coupled with Dell's generally outstanding advance service warranties, I jumped on this deal purely becuase of the dirt-cheap price. I find it hard to...
I jumped in an ordered one. I'm not sure how it will turn out, but since I'm mostly looking for the screen real estate... we'll see. I will be interested how they couch the problems they've been having after they test though...

Okay folks, here's the setup:
Soyo K7VME
Geforce 5200 w/ DVI
Sony 30in widescreen HDTV w/ HDMI
Monster HDMI-DVI connector
...not much else matters
Some of the details of resolutions with HDTV really still baffles me, but my initial plan was to run the system (it's a snapstream box)...
