I have 3 120mm case fans 1)bottom front (intake) 2) side panel right above cpu (intake) 3) top of case (exhaust)
I also have 3 80mm fans 1) right below power supply (exhaust) 2) mounted on bottom of power supply blowing in 3) psu fan
anyway to get to the point (besides the fact I don't care how...
I've seen that. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have all that hardware but not in one case. It just sounds like someone with too much time on their hands and too much money to play with. When I saw that the first thing that came to mind was, How much heat will that case hold. I know that no one...
<<so basically my concerns are:
1. When i removed the heatsink the chip came out with it.. isn't the socket supposed to prevent this??
2. Handling the chip with my hands... is this ok??
3. Bending some of the pins and straightening them out again with my nails.. will this affect performance in...
I am currently running a tired radeon 32MB ddr and unfortunately I don't have the money to shell out for a GF4 TI4600 so I'm going to settle for the 4200 or 4400 depending on how much money I can spare. It also kinda depends on how much bitchin I have to hear from the wife :(
I know it's not the same proc or the same speed but i had an athlon 750 running stable at 940 using FSB. It depends on which way you decide to go. I prefer to use FSB myself but the multipliers seem to work well too. From all that I've read and personally done overclocking limits seem to be set...
I am running 3 120mm case fans, 2 80mm case fans, an athlon 1.4 tbird, 1 hd, 1 cdrom, and 1 cd burner all on a 300W psu and I have no problems. I don't argue with getting a 400W psu but if you don't want to spend that much on a psu then I'd say go with the 330W
I had a similar "problem" when I got my globalwin fop38. A friend took the heat pad off but scratched it a little bit. I used 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper and wet sanded the base to smooth it out.
