error code 8192 and 7

ok, i will try doing that but is there any way to tell if it is corrupted or not? I guess thats why you shouldn't buy oem versions of it.

asus A8V help installing windows

Ok Ive been trying to install windows xp for 2 days now with no success. I have a WD 120gb SATA hard drive. I know you need to install drivers so when it says hit f6 i do, but nothing happens and it continues to install and it starts loading files, it ussually gets to about the 3rd file...

ok I'm installing windows xp professional on my new comp. I'm using a WD 120 gb sata drive. So when I start installing xp, the message comes up to hit f6 and so I do but windows continues doing its normal stuff and starts installing. Then I get error messages ranging from error code 8192 to...

Hitting f6 while installing xp

Ok so I'm trying to install the sata drivers and when It goes into the windows setup and says hit f6 if you want to install scsi/raid drivers well I hit f6 and nothing happens. I've tried holding it down, hitting it multiple times and it just ignores it and keeps on going. Am I doing something...

SATA drivers on WinXP cd?

I'm having the same problem, so when I try to download the the drivers and hit f6, nothing happens. Ive tried holding down f6 and pressing it repeatidly and still nothing is happening. Do i have to have the floppy disk in alread and then when i hit f6 it loads the drivers? thanks for the help.

ok, so I have an Asus A8V motherboard and amd 4000+ and a WD 120gb SATA drive. When I try to install windows I keep getting error messages. Ive been reading the manual and I still dont have any answers so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Asus A8V Help

Ok, I disabeled the promise controller and it still wont launch to windows. Do I need to reformat my current hard drive and reinstall windows to be able to get it working or can I get it to work as is with windows already installed on it? Thanks again

Asus A8V Help

I just bought the asus A8V deluxe and the AMD Athlon 4000+ cpu. After putting in all the drives and video card, i turned on the computer. The problem i am having is that it wont boot up off my hard drive. My hard drive is the same hard drive I was using in my old computer, it is an IDE 7200...
