Case Modding question

Best Bet is to simply have them blowing in, and position then above the add in cards not the cpu alternativly you could just mount them in the front bezel and one behind the cpu sucking out

Please help me identify this case...

I has me a desktop version of that lil baby, no spare drive plates for it, but i bought it from a place in aus www.rantronix.com.au perhaps they might be able to tell you where to get the faceplates? Wouldnt hold my breath tho, they is your standard shonky lil corner store computer shop :)

Is there some logical reason why people don't put fans on the bottom of their case?

Oh and as for making the case quieter, im not so sure it will, as when yopu place a fan in a restiricted space (a 1cm clearance) the noice of the air itself increases as its sucked through the small gap because of the speed it must move at to normalise the pressure or so ive found.. its not a...

This is what im about to do to my Aopen Fulltower case, as i dont want to hack up the front bezel to increase airflow, the aopen feet give the case about an 3cm of clearance from the ground (1" for all you yanks) that to me seems perfectly adequate for a reasonable airflow, dust, well yes...

Is CPUIdle Not working??? It Uses 100% CPU Usage While It Says 99% of my CPU cycles are Idling!!

*smack* idiot :) The cpu runs an idle command, thus its utilising the cpu, but the command itself actually tells the cpu to power down and wait for an instruction essentially, so its a blank instruction, now while it may occupy the cpu time, its actually occupying it with blank data, thus not...

Need To Slow Down The Delta Fan

I remember having a lil proggy that claimed to do that... umm have a good look in the depths of Tweakfiles to see what you come up with, but that sort of voltage modifying is not possibly on these boards because of how they are made? The best bet is just to solder in a small resistor to impede...

How do I reinstall Outlook Express in Win2k?

This is one of those "hmm windoez has screwed up by not deleting the required .dll'files as it shud have" Best bet is to unfortunatly reinstall windows.... If there is somewhere you can find what files outlook express uses, and ensure they are all deleted when uninstalling perhaps...

Is this a good case?

In Short: No In Long: No, a couple of issues i see.. a) It looks to me like to acess the gizzards of your computer you have to slide off the WHOLE assembly? it dosent look very easy acess even if thats not the case b) The structural support bar running the height of the case makes getting at...

Fan Adapters, Speculation on bad pressure?

Lucky the pictures say a thousand words, im a lil rusty on the chinese :) so basically their is a build up of pressure inside the adapter which attempts to reflow thoguth the fans themseves, but i would have thought that this pressure would simply be released through the small opening within the...

Fan Adapters, Speculation on bad pressure?

Damn i forget what site i was on but basically they were reviewing a bunch of 60mm to XXmm fan adapters, and when using the adapters with the fan blowing down into the heatsink they actually performed worse than the 60mm Delta despite havibng a higher rated CFM. But when the fans were sucking...

Heatsink/Fan glued in =/

Aopen HQ-08 Mod...

Im investing in a large number of fans to polulate my case :) not really for nay reason other than to have a noisy case, ive built my own fanbus device so i can turn them off when im not trying to annoy people at LAN parties. Im intrigued by how people manage to fit intake fans on the inside...
