CDROM drives not showing.....heeeelp

This shows up when clicked on in device manager: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

OT: CDROM drives not showing up....please help!

My computer restarted for no reason......when it rebooted (perfectly fine by the way) I realized my CDROM drives weren't being recognized and they are not listed in MY Computer, but they show up in device manager with yellow exclmataion marks. What can I do? When I click on both my CDRW and...

I was about to put on a music cd and when i hit eject my computer restarted for no reason........everything went like normal and my drives were identified in post but both my CDRW and DVD drives aren't showing. They are in device monager but with the yellow exclamation mark.....what can i do...

What's the deal with the UT 2003 demo?

Ti4600 vs 9500 Pro vs 9700 Pro?

In all honesty, i don't think you should do anything yet. If you can't run the games you want the way you want with your ti4200, then my suggestion is to upgrade some other part of your system (cpu, mobo, ram). Your ti4200 should run pretty much everything and theres no real need to upgrade to...

Help me decide on a videocard!

Personally, i say you wait out a little while longer to see how the R9500, 9500pro and 9700 affect the market. If you hold out a bit longer then you'll see the GF FX stir things up and drive prices down.

my radeon 9700pro has something on the box im unfamiliar with...

QuakeCon is an annual convention/tournament specifically for the Quake games. Officially sponsored by id, Doom3 was shown off there recently. It is a gathering place for fans and programmers as well who show off mods and such.

Which 1? Radeon 8500LE, Allinwonder 7500, gef3 ti200, or gef4mx??

On a p2 333mhz? I don't think it will help his fps in solitaire or whatever game is still playable on that.

Since I assume you have access to your friends 7500, why not ask if you can pop it in your setup and see if it suits your needs or not. The 7500AIW seems to be the best choice but with that cpu you might wanna try if it's even a viable solution or just a waste.
